Course Description:
Our in-person 2 hour TN Law class helps Tennessee massage therapists and business owners understnad the rules and regulations put in place by the Massage Licensure Board. You'll learn about the latest updates from The Board, continuing education requirments and deadlines, how to manage your massage and establishment licenses, and how to retire or reinstate your license, if needed. 

During this 2 hour Time Management (Business) class, you'll learn practical strategies to organize your day, prioritize tasks, and work more efficiently. You'll discover how to manage your schedule, stay focused on what matters most, and avoid wasting time on less important activities. By mastering time management, you'll accomplish your goals faster, reduce stress, and have more time for the things you care about.

Mandi Parker was born in Chicago, but raised in Middle Tennessee. Initially, Mandi set out to be an elementary school teacher and studied Elementary Education and Child Psychology at Western Kentucky University before realizing that it wasn't the career she was drawn to. She earned her massage therapy license in 2004 and in 2007 she put her education background to good use when Maj-Lis Nash invited her to become the business instructor at Mind Body Institute. She initially taught there from July 2007 through October 2020, before taking a break. She returned to the Mind Body Institute in September 2024 to help out in the intern clinic and was promoted to intern clinic  lead instructor in October 2025.  Mandi is equally excited to see the next generation of therapists learn and succeed, as well as helping seasoned therapists make sure they understand all of the rules, regulations and policies set forth by the Tennessee Massage board.
          
             
(For massage therapists, this covers the four (4) hours of continuing education in the subject areas required by TN Massage Licensure Board; which are the two (2) hours pertaining to federal and Tennessee statutes and rules concerning massage therapist and establishments (TN Law) and two (2) hours pertaining to the management of practicing massage therapy (business), or to professional ethics, or to substance abuse (Ethics).
