Moving to TN? Reciprocity - 11/5/26

  This course is to be taken by individuals who DO NOT yet have a license in the state of Tennessee and are going to or already have applied for one with the TN massage licensure board.

  • 8am CST until 1pm CST
  • $150.00 flat fee for the course

The course will consist of familiarizing you with the laws and rules in Tennessee regarding massage therapy, assisting in the completion of all paperwork necessary to apply for your license, submitting a transcript of attendance in this class directly to the board for you and getting you on your way to being licensed in the state of Tennessee. Maj-lis has over 25 years of experience helping massage therapists in TN to get their massage license.

OPTIONAL:    If you want to have Maj-Lis review your unofficial transcript you can email her a copy to review. She is not employed by the TN Massage Board but has 25 years experience reading and interpreting massage school transcripts based on TN requirements. This is NOT required to take this class, just a service we offer if you wish. One reason is to save you time when applying if we can spot some issues that might arise for you before you apply and get a deficiency letter. This also allows you to take the necessary steps you might need to have your massage school breakdown your hours clearer for you or even to register for additional hours if you end up needing those. Just because you have over the 650 hrs required you might not have the clear breakdown that is needed to show you have 300hrs in Massage Theory and Practice, 200hrs in Sciences, 125hrs in adjunct therapies, 20hrs of ethics and the 5hrs of TN Law.

If it is discovered by you, us or the TN Massage Boards office lets you know you need more hours we can make that happen for you via both live zoom hours and online training. These will NOT be able to count as CE hours for you. These are core curriculum hours only. These are scheduled on an as needed basis with Maj-lis and are $20 per hour needed.
